@Schools will make it easier and more efficient for your school to order
all its needs
Any authorised member of staff can
create a requisition anytime, anywhere with Internet
access, from all suppliers registered on @Schools. This includes everyone from
national suppliers like NES Arnold, Heinemann Books and RS Components to local
coach firms and plumbers.
There’s no chance for error and minimum delay, because requisitions pass automatically and
securely to your school's
SIMS FMS* administration system for approval and online despatch to all the
suppliers concerned. You can even order from several suppliers in one go - ideal,
for example, when costing a project which needs items from a range of
companies.
Your LEA may be helping you further by creating a special @Schools portal site for your authority schools. This website will carry all special prices and ranges the authority has negotiated on your behalf from suppliers. Before you register your school individually for @Schools, do check the situation with your authority as there is also useful extra functionality present in our local authority systems. * For the full benefits of @Schools, you will need to be using SIMS FMS version 6.76. @Schools is also developing links to other types of schools administration software, so if you do not use SIMS FMS, please talk to your supplier. |
